Update on the new US Tariffs and Customs fees for Ceremonial Cacao from Guatemala

 We hope that you are all doing well; finding inspiration and little sparks of joy every day.

Everything is changing so quickly and often so harshly- honestly, it can be hard to stay centered and balanced. It’s been a bumpy ride for everyone. Thankfully, Cacao is still the best medicine! If you are reading this, you already know its magic. And speaking of magic - our new harvest is coming in now and it is…well, simply deeeelicious!!!! The rains have been good and sweet this year, and the Cacao reflects that beautifully.

Here's a quick update regarding the new tariffs:
 We knew changes were coming, but no one knew what it was going to look like. I honestly thought we would be able to skirt around the whole ordeal, Ceremonial Cacao from Guatemala being so special and often not taxed, but regrettably, everything is getting taxed across the board.

It's actually a bit confusing and often random, but...

*** UPDATE*** Our shipping partner managed to make a deal with DHL- so we cover all the costs for you, and your cacao will arrive just like before. Yay!

We also make weekly shipments to a dear friend and long-time partner in California. You can order from her as well! Either way, your cacao will be sent directly to you, no fees, no charges, no surprises, just smooth delivery like before.
